About

These kits have been ESP ported and modified for the 2mm stroker crankshafts.
Note: 2mm or crankshaft required to use this kit, sold separately (see part numbers dd416)

Important set up recommendations:

1) The G320 engines tend to run hotter than the smaller bore RC Zenoah engines, so it is recommended to have at least 2 lines of cooling water going into and out of the water cooling cap. The complete ESP G340 PUM engine cap will have those modifications done and ready to hook up. The Top end kit does not include the cap, so you will have to do that modification yourself if needed. It is recommended to use a “2 line, straight through.” water cooled exhaust manifold, (or better), to help make sure the engine gets enough water for cooling.

2) Exhaust pipe: We use a modified QD hot pipe for most of our racing/testing, but your other favorite pipes should work well also. Note,--It is very important that the pipe have a 1” header diameter, (typical is .875” diameter.), and a stinger ID of at least .525” to help keep engine temps down at high RPM’s. Let it breath, or it gets hot.

3) Do not use a copper or metal exhaust pipe gasket if you use a “water cooled exhaust manifold”, (used to warm the water before it flows into the water jacket cap.). The “water cooled” manifold can cool the exhaust side of the cylinder, causing the cylinder to go “out of round”, in the “heat” of battle, resulting in a top end seizure. The stock Zenoah exhaust pipe gasket, (more insulated), is recommended.

4) No “break in time” recommended. Rough set the L jet to idle well and respond well. H jet: Start out rich, (over 2.125 turns out usually), to set the H-speed jet, get to full throttle in a rich condition with a dark plug, (getting to full throttle safely.). Do full throttle runs to set the H jet. Close off the H jet 1/16th of a turn at a time to get the plug color correct. Final set your L jet as needed that is responsive and will launch, and you are ready to start racing.

Thanks for using my stuff. Much appreciated. Happy roosting.
